Give Directions مسیر و آدرس دهی

برای نشان دادن مسیر از imperative یا جملات امری استفاده می کنیم. جملات امری از infinitive یا همان مصدر افعال ساخته می شود.(توضیحات بیشتر در گرامر بعد)

برو جلو درب و بپیچ به چپ

Go straight on
مستقیم برو جلو (انگلیسی بریتانیایی)

از چراغ راهنما عبور کن

Follow June Lane to the end of the street
کوچه "جون" را تا انتها دنبال کن(برو)

کتابفروشی دومین فروشگاه سمت چپه

next to the butcher's
کنار قصابی

the book shop is on the right past the museum
کتابفروشی سمت راست بعد از موزه است

between a chemist's and bank
بین داروخانه و بانک

Take the first left/right
سر اولین (چهارراه) بپیچ چپ/راست

Go out of the front door and turn left. Go straight ahead until the traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn right into June Street. Follow to the end of the street, then turn right again. And, go down May Avenue. And the bookshop is the second on the left.

از در جلویی برو بیرون و بپیچ چپ. مستقیم تا چراغ راهنمایی برو. سر چراغ راهنمایی بپیچ راست داخل خیابون June. تا آخر خیابون برو بعد دوباره بپیچ راست. و تا ته بلوار May برو. کتابفروشی دومی سمت چپه.
